Thasaporn Naklo continuing her dominant performance on the court

Iowa State’s Thasaporn Naklo continued her dominant performance on the court at the Kitty Harrison as Thasporn won the tournament walking out as champion. If Naklo continues to play at a high level and wins many of her singles matches this season, and she keeps up this fantastic playThasaporn could quickly move up in the national ranks and put herself and help the Iowa State tennis team have more recognition this fall season.

Others Cyclones tennis players performing well

As much as Naklo deserves praise some other cyclones on the team played well as 91st ranked Miska Kadleckova captured the consolation title as she beat Princeton’s Sung in three sets in the consolation match 4-6, 6-3, 1-0. Heish and Cabezas both capturing multiple wins in their singles match this weekend. In the team’s doubles with Heish and Naklo earning multiple victories, one of the wins being against North Carolina duo Kacie Harvey and Lindsay Zink.

Iowa State’s sophomore Kezuka was the only one competing at the Gopher Interventional where she had a good weekend and played in some good competition tennis matches in the tournament and beat some of those tennis players in her doubles matches. Iowa State’s Kezuka and her partner Minnesota’s Vasiliki Karvouni won three matches and lost two matches in this Tournament, good wins beating Drake’s doubles duo and South Dakota duos on Saturday but then losing to North Dakota’s team in doubles.

In the singles action in Minnesota as Kezuka finished the weekend with a secluded three wins and only losing once in her solo action after beating Drake’s Darinka Stepan on the last day of gopher interventional
