Women’s golf finishes 11th at Windy City Collegiate

The Iowa State women’s golf team finished in 11th place out of 14 teams at the Windy City Collegiate Championship in Wilmette, Illinois. The team shot 300-302-298 to finish the tournament with a even score of 900.

Chayanit Wangmahaporn had the best finish for the Cyclones by tying for 15th place. She also racked up 11 birdies, third-highest at the tournament. Amelia Mehmet Grohn tied for 24th at six over par. The rest of the team’s scores were in the fifties or higher.

  • (T-58th) Alanna Campbell

  • (T-60th) Joy Chou

  • (78th) Vivian Lee

USC, Arizona State and Arizona were the top three teams at the Windy City Collegiate Championship.

The Cyclones will next play on Oct 19-21 at the Stanford Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, California.
