After three strong rounds of play, the Iowa State women’s golf team placed 12th in the Chevron Collegiate. Leading the way for the Cyclones was freshman Nichakorn Pinprayoon with a two-under-par performance. 

Right behind Pinprayoon for second on the team with a -1 overall score was junior Pammy Chookaew. She had a team-best round with -3 during the second round of play. Chookaew would finish tied for 31st place.

In third for Iowa State was junior Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn, tying for 41st overall shooting one-over-par for her total. Tying 50th in the tournament with a +3 week was freshman Isabella Yan. Finally was freshman Alexandra Vidal who shot +15 for the event. 

TCU would take first in the competition with a commanding win, separating itself from the group by shooting nine strokes ahead of the second-place Texas A&M. A silver lining for the Cyclones is that the University of Iowa finished dead last just under 30 strokes behind Iowa State.
