After a week filled with touchdowns for former Cyclones, none got in the end zone during Week 6. The Texans’ bye week and 49ers’ quarterback, Brock Purdy, being injured limited the number of former players in action.
David Montgomery
Mongomery ran for 24 yards but caught two passes for 37 yards against the Chiefs Sunday night. A second-straight week with a passing touchdown was erased after Montgomery’s 1-yard touchdown pass to Lions quarterback Jared Goff was erased by an illegal motion penalty.
Breece Hall
There was not a whole lot of yardage gained in the Jets’ loss to the Broncos in London, but Hall logged the most offensive yards other than Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, with 59 rushing yards.
Kene Nwangwu
With very limited offensive snaps, Nwangwu has found a way to continue making an impact on special teams. The longest play from scrimmage was a 72-yard kick return from Nwangwu to give the Jets good starting field position.
Eyioma Uwazurike
Uwazurike had his second straight week with a sack against the Jets, adding to the three tackles he logged as well.
Will McDonald IV
McDonald tallied two tackles in the loss to the Broncos, getting his season total up to nine tackles.
