Spring Break Spotify essentials

Spring break is the time to get away for college students, but with it comes travel. Whether you are traveling nearby or seeking warmer weather, driving or flying, the commute itself can be stressful and unbearable without a distraction. What better remedy than music?
Without further ado, here are some Spotify playlists that can accompany any trip.
The Classic Road-Trip
Whether you are traveling with friends or family, the ‘Road Trip Sing-Along Songs’ playlist by Digster Playlists is a perfect fit. Who doesn’t love spending hours at a time screaming “Highway To Hell” and then jumping to Imagine Dragons or even “All Star” by Smash Mouth? This playlist has it all! If you are anything like me, you might also want to throw it back to the good old days. Consider an old school Disney playlist, because nothing is more exciting than jamming to The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, or Frozen on your way out of town.
The Mountain/Camping Trip
The ‘Camping Playlist’ by Spotify user Shane.Clark.76 has over 11,000 followers and is sure to set the mood for a camping or hiking excursion. These melodies are calming and include songs like “Dust in the Wind,” “Banana Pancakes,” and even “Creep” by Radiohead.
The “Let’s go to the beach, beach” Trip
If you are headed South and enjoy a bit of twang in your jams, you might consider the ‘Beach/Country‘ playlist by Spotify user Mschwrz. This playlist has all the upbeat pop-country tunes to get you pumped up for your week down south.

This mix has everything from Taylor Swift, to Khalid, to COIN and MisterWives. It will definitely give you something to enjoy and relax to on that long commute.
The “I’m stuck at home working” Commute
Some of us made the brave decision to stay home this spring break. Whether that was to hang out with family and friends, or to make a little extra cash (or both), you definitely cannot miss out on these classic playlists.
