Freshman guard Lindell Wigginton has decided to declare for the NBA Draft without hiring an agent, according to a report from ESPN.com and an ISU spokesperson.

The spokesperson said he hadn’t submitted his paperwork yet as of 11 a.m. on March 21, but would soon.

Wigginton has the ability to enter the draft and receive feedback by the NBA. He must withdraw his name by June 11 and not hire an agent if he wants to return to college next season.

The Nova Scotia, Canada native led the Cyclones this season with 16.7 points per game along with shooting 40.1 percent from the 3-point line.

He averaged 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists throughout the season and took over the point guard role after redshirt junior guard Nick Weiler-Babb went down with a knee injury.
