Baylor wins the rematch over Iowa State 81-67

It was a tight game heading into the half as Iowa State led Baylor 32-30. That lead vanished in the second half as the Bears took over the game eventually winning 81-67 against the Cyclones.

Once again, Nick Weiler-Babb was out of the lineup due to tendonitis in his knee. Therefore, Lindell Wigginton and Donovan Jackson took over the point guard duties against the Bears. 

At the end of the first half, Wigginton led the Cyclones with 14 points and four assists. The freshman guard finished the game with 14 points and eight assists.

Iowa State beat out Baylor on the 3-point line. 

Iowa State finished the game with a 45 percent from behind the arc, while Baylor finished with 14.3 percent. The Bears shot 50 percent from the field, while the Cyclones finished with 34.8 percent. 

Coach Steve Prohm was focused on rebounding against tall and long Baylor players. The Bears out rebounded the Cyclones with a 43-35 total rebound. 

Along with Wigginton, Zoran Talley Jr. recorded 12 points, while Cameron Lard finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. 

The Cyclones stay on the road for their second straight away game against Texas Tech on Wednesday at 8 p.m. before heading back home. The Red Raiders are 19-4 overall and 7-3 in the Big 12.
