Here is the schedule of events for the official appointment of the next Iowa State University President on Monday:

  • 7 a.m.: The presidential search committee reports to the Board of Regents in the Iowa State University Alumni Center.
    • The committee will first convene in an open session and then a closed session to evaluate the candidates.
  • 8 a.m.: The Board of Regents interviews the finalists in the Iowa State University Alumni Center..
    • The board will first convene in an open session and then a closed session to evaluate the candidates.
    • An appointment of the President of Iowa State University will be made.
  • 5 p.m.: Anticipated announcement of the Iowa State President.
