Iowa State sweeps Kansas State in Manhattan

The Iowa State volleyball team traveled down to Manhattan, Kan. to take on the Kansas State Wildcats Wednesday night. 

The Cyclones will be coming back home with another victory as they swept the Wildcats (25-18, 26-24, and 25-23).

On the night, Iowa State tallied a .226 hitting percentage while holding Kansas State to subpar .182 percent. The Cyclones were led by Grace Lazard, Jess Schaben and Samara West who had 12, 10, and 9 kills, respectively.

With the win over the Wildcats, the Cyclones are 15-4 on the season and 6-3 in Big 12 play.

Iowa State will return to the court Saturday night at Hilton Coliseum as it takes on the Kansas Jayhawks at 7:30 p.m.
