Tiny Moving Parts will be performing in the Maintenance Shop Friday at 8 p.m.

Tiny Moving Parts is an emo/math rock band from Benson, Minnesota and was formed by brothers William Chevalier and Matthew Chevalier, and their cousin Dylan Mattheisen. They formed in 2010 and have been playing together since.

The band released their most recent album “Celebrate” under Triple Crown Records. This fall they will embark on a tour of the UK and Europe with pop-punk band Knuckle Puck.

Tiny Moving Parts is a growing band that maintains their small-town stars vibe. Their story on Facebook reads, “We would love to play your house!”

They have a unique feeling to their music and the band isn’t afraid to stray from the norm and switch up song structures. Their albums jump from song-to-song in a way that keeps listeners on their toes and wondering what could come next.

If their recorded music is any sign of their live talent, attendees are sure to be in for a treat.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 with a student ID and $15 for the public, with a $2 increase the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased at the M-Shop box office or online via Midwestix.com.
