Ames is in the season of construction. Below is a list of road closures coming to campus in the next few weeks.

One of the two southbound lanes on Stange Road near Pammel/Stange Intersection will close for the installation of a new concrete curb. A partial closure is necessary to demo a section of curb and pour back a new full curb near the intersection of Pammel & Stange. Only one lane of the two southbound lanes will be closed. Traffic will be directed to the open lane.

The sidewalk on the east side of Stange, between Blankenburg and Edenburn, will be closed for asphalt surfacing and widening from 7 a.m. on August 2 to 5 p.m. on August 8. Take alternate sidewalks within the Schilleter/University Village area. Watch for intermittent lane closure on northbound Stange while workers are present.

Parking Lot 35 will be closed at 5 a.m. on August 4 and is scheduled to reopen at 7:30 a.m. on August 7 to allow for underground utility work to cross the drive into the parking lot.

Existing closure continuing
The sidewalk running east-west through the Student Innovation Center project site will close August 4 and is not scheduled to reopen until the project is completed, possibly for the next two years.
A new sidewalk has been placed on the north side of Hoover to replace this path.
