Cyclone Space Mining team hyped for NASA competition

Maggie Curry

Cyclone Space Mining, a primarily-STEM club, designs and builds a Martian robot to compete in the NASA Robotic Mining Competition each year. The team is now at the competition with two – not one – robots.

Their names? Ketchup and Mustard, and the team has a poll on their twitter for which robot will mine the most ‘martian’ dirt.

The team has been enjoying the Florida weather.

Check out this video of the robots enjoying the beach.

You can find the team on Facebook and Twitter.
