Jarryd Huntley, independent game designer and co-author of The 2016 Game Career Guide, will give a lecture Wednesday on “Game Development in Flyover States.”

The lecture will begin at 7 p.m. in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union and will be free for all to attend.

Huntley will talk about how the rise of independent development and mid-size studios made the development of games outside of traditional West Coast hubs more viable, according to the Iowa State events page.
