The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Committee announced that Iowa State’s Jhoanmy Luque and Jasmine Staebler have qualified for the NCAA indoor championship meet in March.

Luque will represent the Cyclones in the women’s long jump and triple jump. She is ranked fourth in both events with a 21-5 1/4 mark in the long jump and 44-9 1/2 mark in the triple jump.

She is also one of two Division I athletes who owns top-five marks in both events.

While Luque will make her return to nationals for the second straight year, Staebler will make her debut.

The middle-distance runner is the eighth seed — 2 minutes and 3.08 seconds — in the 800.

The championships will take place March 10 and 11 in College Station, Texas.
