Within the College of Veterinary Medicine, fourth year students can receive practical hands-on training by treating farmers’ livestock through Veterinary Field Services. Field services offer services to the ISU Dairy Farm and on-farm services for livestock producers in the Ames area. Dairy calves wait patiently to be checked on.
