Nature enthusiast Jim Pfitzer will reprise his role as Aldo Leopold in the one-man, one-act performance titled “A Standard of Change.” The show will be presented by The Leopold Center at 2 p.m. Saturday in the ISU Alumni Center’s South Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.

Set in one evening and around the famous Wisconsin Shack that inspired much of Leopold’s writing, the performance explores the influences and challenges that led Aldo Leopold to penning some of the most important essays in his book “A Sand County Almanac.”

Leopold’s collection of essays has sold more than 2 million copies and is considered to be one of the most respected books about the environment ever published.

Pfitzer has performed this show across the United States, receiving remarkable reviews. The play was written by and stars Pfitzer.
