Most populous bachelor’s degrees at Iowa State

Daniel Mallek, junior in electrical engineering and project head, controls the robotic arm of the Mars Analog Vehicle for Robotic Inspection and Construction. The robot, known as MAVRIC, is a Mars rover built by ISU students. The rover has the ability to climb over rocks. The rover will be competing in various events this June in Utah, varying from traversing rough terrain to taking soil samples.

Iowa State has a lot of students, as well as a lot of majors, but which majors have the most students on campus?

A recent article released by Inside Iowa State, based on numbers from ISU Annual Statistical Report from the fall of 2015, laid out exactly which undergraduate degrees were most popular among students.

The counts were gathered in August and December of 2014 as well as May of 2015.

Here are the top three bachelor’s degrees within each college.
