Robin and Linda Williams will bring their blend of folk and bluegrass music to the M-Shop on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Husband-and-wife folk duo Robin and Linda Williams will return to the M-Shop at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Maintenance Shop.

Tickets are $15 with a student ID and $20 for the public, with a $2 increase the day of the show. Tickets can be purchased at the M-Shop box office or online via Midwestix.

In the duo’s 40 years of making music together, they have recorded over 20 albums and have toured and performed with Mary Chapin Carpenter on her Grammy-winning album “Stones in the Road.”

They have also made appearances at The Grand Old Opry, Austin City Limits and Music City Tonight; as well as being frequently featured on Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion,” a variety radio show typically based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The duo also appeared in the 2006 comedy film “A Prairie Home Companion,” which featured a fictional re-telling of the events of the radio show of the same name and featured Woody Harrelson, Tommy Lee Jones and Meryl Streep in its star-studded cast.
