The 2016 Women Impacting ISU calendar and the women who have been chosen will be unveiled in a reception honoring those who have impacted Iowa State.

The reception will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union. The event is free for anyone to attend.

The reception will name as well as honor the 12 women who were chosen for the 2016 year. The women are currently ISU students, faculty or staff.

“Selections are made by a committee comprised of previous honorees, past nominators and Catt Center staff based on the nominees’ achievements in teaching, research, service and administration as well as their involvement in various campus activities,” according to the events calendar.

The calendar is sponsored by the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics and is funded by the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost.
