Blue and gold heart-shaped confetti and oversized beach balls bouncing through the crowd of 2,000 people topped off the excitement at the Back To The Future Hearts Tour.

One Ok Rock, Neck Deep, Sleeping With Sirens and All Time Low put on an exciting and energetic show Wednesday at the Seven Flags Event Center in Des Moines. Playing music-heavy sets and interacting with the crowd made for a fantastic concert.

One Ok Rock opened the show, playing a 30-minute set filled with songs from their new album. The crowd jumped around as they performed.

Neck Deep performed second. They had more banter throughout their 30-minute set but still performed many new songs as well as old.  During their set, they band formed a circle pit and interacted with the crowd by joking about wanting to order Jimmy Johns after they perform and taking selfies on audience members’ phones.

Sleeping with Sirens played a 60-minute set, which included both acoustic and full-band songs. They played popular songs such as “Do It Now” and “Remember it Later” then closed the set with “If You Can’t Hang.”

The crowd immediately condensed as soon as Sleeping With Sirens took the stage. Not only did the crowd get energetic with the older, more popular songs but also jumped around, clapped and screamed the words to the new music.

All Time Low was the last band to perform, with a 100-minute set and a three- song encore. They elicited the largest crowd and had their popular banter. Guitarist Jack Barakat collected multiple bras on his microphone stand and also snagged a shiny silver male thong.

All Time Low mostly played new songs to which the crowd sang along. They also had a vote for which songs to play. Following their last song the crowd cheered for an encore, which the band award the crowd after a few minutes.

Overall, it was a great show, and All Time Low promised to come back to Iowa soon.
