Body Image and Eating Disorder Awareness 5k event

Iowa State University’s Body Image and Eating Disorder Awareness club (BIEDA) will be holding a 5k this Saturday, October 24th, at Ada Hayden Heritage Park. The 5k walk/run starts at 9 a.m. To register for the event visit http://isubieda5k.weebly.com/ and bring $15 to the event, cash or check. Everyone who registers will receive a custom water bottle. There will also be prizes awarded in a raffle and a costume contest. BIEDA encourages a positive, sustainable lifestyle through body image and eating disorder awareness and campus/local resource identification. The BIEDA club strives to be a voice that will de-stigmatize eating disorders and help those that are struggling to identify how to receive help.
