Iowa State university reaches out to the local community frequently, and is doing so again on Monday. 

The Young Women in Business conference, hosted by the College of Business, will be held in the Gerdin Business Building and the Memorial Union from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. 

The conference aims to expose women currently in grades 9-12 to what a degree in business can do for them. The conference allows the women along with their parents, teachers and counselors to ask questions of the faculty in the College of Business as well as learn about opportunities within the world of business. Attendees will also be able to interact with current female students in the College of Business and learn about their experiences.
