Candidates running in the Ames City Council election will stop by campus on Friday to discuss issues relevant to Iowa State students.

The forum with candidates will take place in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union from 6 to 7 p.m.

Students will have the opportunity to talk to the candidates about issues that are relevant to them and to Iowa State. This also gives the candidates a chance to learn more about the concerns students have about the community.

Currently, the candidates up for election to City Council include Dan DeGeest and Chris Nelson for Ward 4, Bronwyn Beatty-Hansen and Matthew Converse for the at large seat and Tim Gartin for Ward 2.
