What we’re saying is that the circumstances are similar to yesterday. We have more of a vague description of the suspects today. Similar MO about what happened, 

They kicked in the door of the apartment, displayed a gun and demanded money and other property, assaulted the resident and left. 

It’s similar to what happened yesterday, and a similar description, but we don’t for sure yet that they’re the same two guys.

He was taken to Mary Greeley, treated and released. He had several lacerations on his head he had to get staples for. Non life-threatening injuries, he was released. 

Not sure, but something hard. It was something hard enough to cause lacerations on his head.
