Accessories for the modern bride

As wedding season is approaching, more and more brides are going for a more modern look. To successfully achieve this look, brides are accessorizing differently.

Instead of a long, traditional veil, women are wearing birdcage veils, which only cover half their face. With this type of veil, it is suggested to wear a statement comb piece to give the veil sparkle.

Some brides are ditching the veil all together and wearing a tiara. These tiaras come in all different shapes and sizes to cater to their wedding theme.

Another way to achieve a modern bridal look is a pop of color on the nails. As a replacement of the customary white French-tip, brides are putting bright colors on their nails that match their wedding colors.

If the bright color is too much for a bride, white ombre tips might be the perfect compromise. It’s elegant and traditional, yet has just enough flare to make the nails stand out.

Statement necklaces are not just for every day anymore. Now they can be seen down the aisle. Many brides have been pairing their wedding gowns with large necklaces to add to the glamour of their big day.

If you’re a soon-to-be-bride, make sure to incorporate some of the newest trends into your wedding. But don’t forget to wear something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
