ISU tennis sweeps Augustana

In the last regular season match, the ISU tennis team gained some confidence going into the Big 12 tournament next weekend with a 7-0 win against Augustana.

The team won the doubles point with the help of the No. 2 and 3 doubles. The only loss in the match came from No. 1 doubles as senior Ksenia Pronina and sophomore Samantha Budai fell to Augustana.

The lineup was changed from the Oklahoma State match because junior Alejandra Galvis suffered a knee injury during yesterday’s match. Coach Armando Espinosa said she should be fine for the Big 12 tournament.

The next match will be against Kansas State in Waco, Texas on April 23 to start the Big 12 tournament.
