In her final indoor race for Iowa State, redshirt senior Katy Moen ran to a top-10 performance in the 3,000-meter run at the NCAA Indoor National Championships.

Moen was the lone representative of the ISU women’s team in Fayetteville, Ark. and finished just shy of all-america honors.

As one of the key contributors throughout both the cross country and indoor track and field seasons, Moen once again finished strong, finishing 10th with a time of 9:13.83.

The next step for the veteran runner will be the last of her ISU career — the outdoor season.
