On day one at the Mountainview Collegiate, it was the Chonlada Chayanun show.

The ISU senior finds herself at the top of the leaderboard once again, as she holds a one-shot lead against her four nearest competitors.

Chayanun scorched the 6,227-yard par-72 Mountainview Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz., by posting rounds of 67 and 70 and was in or near the lead for much of the day.

With one round to go, as well as a handful of players still to finish their second round, Chayanun is in line for her second victory in just over a month and her third top-10 finish of the season.

On the team leaderboard, Iowa State stands at two-over-par and is in sixth place out of 20 teams. The Cyclones are 8 shots behind leader Florida International.

Aside from a one-under-par 71 in the first round from freshman Nattapan Siritrai, no other Cyclone had a sub-par round on the day.

In a tie for 20th out of 104 golfers is freshman Celia Barquin. The freshman posted two rounds of 72 and is at even-par for the tournament.

After a 71, Siritrai posted a 74 and is tied for 30th at one-over-par.

Junior Cajsa Persson is tied for 68th place after rounds of 75 and 77.

Freshman M.J. Kamin is tied for 90th place after a pair of 78s.

The third and final round is set for March 21.
