Bataan march

Kelly Mcgowan

Nine Army ROTC cadets and two program leaders ran and marched 26.2 miles on pavement, dirt, sand and gravel through the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico on March 22. The march honors soldiers who were forced to walk 65 miles to prisoner of war camps in what became known as the Bataan Death March in April, 1942 in the Philippines.
