Lecturer to speak on how American women change politics

Michelle Bernard, CEO of the Bernard Center for Women, Politics and Public Policy, will speak at Iowa State on Tuesday on how American women play a vital role in today’s political sphere. 

Bernard will speak Tuesday, on March 31 in the Sun Room in the MU at 7:30 p.m.

Bernard, who is also an attorney and author, also is a political and legal analyst for MSNBC and contributor for the Huffington Post. She will speak on her beliefs for on the importance of independent thought and the importance of givinb a voice to the limited government, free markets and personal responsibility. 

The lecture is also sponsored by the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics.
