Dry shampoo can be a huge life-saver when it comes to mornings with not enough time to wash your hair or those days you need some extra lift.

Dry shampoo is a lifesaver when it comes to second-day hair and hair that can’t seem to get enough lift. Many do not know they actually can get more bang for your buck with this one simple product.

Dry shampoo is not just for days when you slept through your alarm. Here are five ways to get the most out of the staple spray:

1. Degrease. The traditional use of the spray is always a given. When you wake up for class with a head of greasy hair and don’t have time to wash it, spritz on a tad of the dry shampoo and you will be good to go.

2. Boost the brows. If you have unruly eyebrows, dry shampoo will do just the trick. Sprinkle a little bit onto your finger and gently comb your brows in place while adding some thickness.

3. Cover roots. The dry shampoo market has expanded into a range of colors. So if you are in- between touch-ups, gently spray along your hairline to cover up your natural color.

4. Pin it. You would think that your beloved bobby pin will stay in place forever, but that isn’t always the case. You could witness it slipping if you have freshly washed hair or an elaborate up-do. To keep this hassle at bay, spray the pin with some dry shampoo to give it extra grip.

5. Ride the wave. Keep dreaming of summer? Make your hair look the part by twisting small sections of hair and misting with dry shampoo to leave you with a day at the beach look.
