According to the Government of the Student Body Election Code, candidates must follow the following rules: 

– Stay within the $1250 election spending cap. For senate seat races, the limit is $100. 

– Report all donations, which count in the $1250 spending cap. 

 – File endorsements with the Election Commission. 

– Wait to campaign until the campaigning start date. 

– Do not campaign on the day of elections.
