ISU volleyball said goodbye to its season Dec. 6 after falling to No. 10 Illinois in straight sets (27-25, 25-18, 25-18) in the NCAA tournament’s second round.

The final match of 2014 was also a farewell for former All-American and current Big 12 First Team Selection senior Victoria Hurtt.

Hurtt tallied eight kills, three digs and one block assist in her final contest in a cardinal and gold uniform.

Senior Taylor Goetz, whose playing time ebbed and flowed throughout the year, also finished up her career with the loss to Illinois. Goetz did not play in her last outing.
