Cyclone Hockey takes on the Colorado State Rams this weekend, a team that defeated the No. 1-ranked Central Oklahoma Broncos in its last series.

Here’s a look at who has been playing well as of late and may make an impact this weekend.

Matt Cooper, goalie: Despite his team losing both games, Cooper had a great weekend in Illinois. In the first game on Nov. 14, he stopped 32 of 36 shots and did much of the same on Nov. 14, stopping 22 of 24 shots. He was named Cyclone Player of the Week for his efforts.

Jake Bruhn, forward: Bruhn’s assist on Nov. 14 tied him for first on the team in assists at 11. It also put him third-in-points with 13. He has two points in his last three games.

Injury Update:

Cyclone captain Mike Dopko will miss “the next two weeks for sure” with an upper body injury according to coach Jason Fairman.

Cyclone Hockey takes on the Colorado State Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 and 22 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
