Woods: Recharge through sleep

Being sleep deprived is a sticky situation to be in. It causes many issues of the body and can be detrimental. 

Sleep is a powerful thing that can do wonders, like heal the brain and all its functions making it perform better.

However, there are things to watch out for if sleeping is something you don’t believe in. 

  • Growth and cell-repair throughout the body is negatively affected
  • Reduced energy levels with bursts of euphoria occur
  • Unstable moods and excessive sleepiness happen during the day
  • Cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension and certain types of cancers have occurred

This all takes place after sleep has been stricken from the daily routine over time. Don’t give your body a chance to malfunction and make sure to get enough sleep so that your brain and other bodily functions perform properly.
