The weekend is full of events to help finish celebrating CY’s 60th birthday and our 102nd annual homecoming week.

Tonight, there will be several events and activities taking place at the Alumni Center. Live music begins at 5 PM, including Brad Myers, Shy of a Dozen and the ISU Marching Band and Spirit Squad. There will be tailgate and carnival games for families, giveaways and merchandise for sale. The homecoming pep rally begins at 7pm, and will include coaches and student athletes from our football and basketball teams. The pep rally will also include the Yell Like Hell Finals and the recognition of the Cardinal Court. The pairings of Pi Beta Phi, Delta Zeta and Gamma Phi Beta will be participating in tonight’s Yell Like Hell finals and that is tentatively scheduled to begin at 7pm.

Afterwards, the Greek chapters will be showcasing their street and lawn displays from 8-10pm in the Greek community. From 10 PM to 1 AM, there will be pancakes served on central campus. Pancakes that night can be purchased for $3 a person. To end the night, there will be tons of campaniling and fireworks on central campus at midnight.

Saturday is the homecoming football game against the Toledo Rockets. Kickoff is set at 2:30 pm at Jack Trice Stadium. Cyclone Central Tailgating will begin at 11:30am before the game. It will be held at the Alumni Center and is open to the public. The event is free, but you can register online for the meal that day, and there will also be a bar service and merchandise for sale. The ISU Marching Band will also perform at the tailgate. On Sunday, the announcement of which Greek homecoming pairing will be announced along with the 2nd and 3rd place pairings.
