The Lowdown

In its Big 12 home opener, the ISU volleyball team (8-5, 1-2 Big 12) notched its first conference win of the season, defeating West Virginia (11-6, 1-2 Big 12) in four sets (21-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-16).

The Cyclones and Mountaineers went toe-to-toe for most of the first set until West Virginia was able to pull away late. That would prove to be the only victory of the day for the Mountaineers, as the Cyclones went on to claim the next three sets comfortably.
