The Cyclones have fallen to Texas for the second year in a row. On Saturday, Iowa State fell 48-45 on a last second field goal in Austin, giving the Longhorns the win.

Iowa State’s production on the offensive end was perhaps their best all year. They had 524 total offensive yards, 110 of which came from running back Aaron Wimberly, giving the senior back his season high.

Sam Richardson finished 36-55 for 345 yards and three touchdowns on the night, giving the quarterback his second consecutive game throwing for more than 300 yards. The redshirt junior also had two interceptions.

Iowa State will take a week off this week before hosting Oklahoma on Nov. 1. The start time has yet to be determined for that game.
