The five things to know heading into the Gopher Invitational:

1. The women’s tennis team will be playing their first invitational this weekend in Minneapolis.

2. Head coach Armando Espinosa expects everyone to play and he will not be looking at the results.

3. Freshman Anna Garcia will not be playing due to a back injury she obtained during the week. 

4. Espinosa will be focusing on doubles and making comfortable pairings to formulate wins for the team.

5. The action starts at 9 a.m. Sept. 19 against 11 other teams, including host University of Minnesota.
