Bill and Hillary Clinton will be featured speakers at Sen. Tom Harkin’s final Steak Fry in Indianola on Sept. 14.

The annual Steak Fry has become a must-attend event for progressive Midwest politicians over the last 37 years. Past speakers have included President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Ready For Hillary, an ISU student group, is offering a free T-shirt, a ticket to the event and a ride for any student who RSVPs on its website www.readyforhillary.com. The group will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 in front of the Memorial Union.

The event is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. at the National Balloon Classic Balloon Field. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m.
