Academic adviser
Your academic adviser should be one of the people you keep in touch with the most. He or she can help you with any problems you have and is a great resource in general.
Thielen Student Health Center
The Thielen Student Health Center is located on the west edge of campus across from State Gym. It offers many health care services. A complete list can be found at health.iastate.edu.
To schedule an appointment, call 515-294-5801. Bring your ISUCard with you to check in to your appointment.
Hixson-Lied Student Success Center
If you are having trouble studying for exams or with homework in general, you can find help at the Hixson-Lied Student Success Center on the east side of campus.
For a complete list of their services, visit dso.iastate.edu/asc.
Textbooks
To purchase your textbooks, you can either visit the University Book Store located in the Memorial Union or reserve them online at www.isubookstore.com. If you reserve your textbooks, you can pick them up in the Memorial Union’s Multicultural Center between August 20 and 23. When you purchase textbooks, you can charge them to your U-Bill.
