A 29-year-old ISU graduate student was tubing down the South Skunk River in Ames when the group of eight got caught on a felled tree in the water. Seven climbed to shore while one got pulled into the fast currents around 2:45 p.m. The Story County dive team recovered his body downriver around 6:45 p.m. Video by Makayla Tendall/Iowa State Daily.
