Iowa State defeated Baylor 74-65 on March 15 to clinch the 2014 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship title in Kansas City, Mo. After trailing the entire first half, the Cyclones finally pulled ahead in the second half and won the game. After the game, the team celebrated on the court by cutting down the game’s net. This was Iowa State’s first appearance in the final round of the tournament and their second conference title since 2000.
