Jeff Dunham comes to Iowa

Jeff Dunham, ventriloquist famous for his shows on Comedy Central, will perform 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

Jeff Dunham will perform his “Disorderly Conduct” tour in Wells Fargo Arena at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26.

Popular for his ventriloquism on stage with a large cast of his characters, Dunham is known for his creations like Walter, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Peanut and others which he hand crafted throughout his life. 

Dunham first gained popularity through his specials on Comedy Central, “Arguing with Myself” in 2006 and “Spark of Insanity” in 2007 among others. In 2012, Dunham premiered his special “Minding the Monsters” on Comedy Central to 7.5 million viewers, making it the most-watched show to ever premier on the network that year.

Dunham’s “Disorderly Conduct” will be touring through the UK, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East as well as Asia after touring through North America. 

Dunham will premier his first animated film “Achmed Saves America” staring his characters Achmed and Peanut in March 2014. 

The New York Times Magazine has declared Dunham “the most successful comedian working in America” due to his successful tours and specials.
