The Ames Police Department released a missing person report for Thomas Dooley this afternoon. Dooley was last seen in the area of Florida and Ontario Street.

Commander Geoff Huff of the Ames Police Department said that Dooley lived off of Florida Street.

According to the Ames Police news release, Dooley is 21 years old.

“The people that know him that live in town, they haven’t talked to him or seen him since Jan. 31,” Huff said.

Huff said that his family has been looking for him for a while.

“I don’t know exactly how long it’s been since everyone figured out they hadn’t seen him in a while,” Huff said.

Huff and Annette Hacker, program director for university relations, said that Dooley is not an Iowa State University student.

Huff said that he will post on social media if and when he comes across new information.
