No. 17 Iowa State defeated Northern Iowa 91-82 in overtime on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 in the Big Four Classic at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. The Cyclones trailed by as many as 18 points in the second half, but used a 23-2 run to get back into the game an eventually win it in overtime. After the game, forwards Melvin Ejim and Georges Niang talked to the media along with Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg.
