Jadda Buckley named Big 12 Freshman of the Week

Jadda Buckley’s career-high in scoring against Iowa on Friday, Dec. 13 didn’t go unnoticed.
Buckley was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week for her efforts against the Hawkeyes, the league announced Monday.
She tallied a career-high 19 points and added three assists in 38 minutes of action in Iowa State’s 83-70 win against Iowa on Friday. Buckley was also 14-of-16 from the free throw line.
Iowa State has brought home three other weekly awards this season with Hallie Christofferson earning Player of the Week honors on Nov. 11, and Seanna Johnson earning Freshman of the Week on Nov. 25 and Dec. 2.
