Speaker of the GSB Senate Gabby Williams will represent Iowa State at a public forum on the UNI campus this Friday.

The U.S. Department of Education will hold the forum to discuss the Obama Administration’s college affordability initiative. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bengtson Auditorium in Russell Hall.

The event is open to the public and will also be streamed online at live.uni.edu.

Officials from the Department of Education, including Under Secretary of Education Martha Kantor will be facilitating the event.

The forum is one of only four taking place on college campuses across the country. California State University-Dominguez Hills held theirs on Wednesday November 6. George Mason and LSU will also hold similar events.
