Koree Willer, a freshman forward from Fort Collins, Colo., has been named the conference Newcomer of the Week by the Big 12. 

Willer notched two assists and a goal in a 4-1 victory against Oklahoma on Sunday, Oct. 13. Through Willer’s inaugural season as a Cyclone she has scored four goals, second on the team behind seniors Jennifer Dominguez and Emily Goldstein.

Three of Willer’s goals this season have been game winners, tying her for first in the Big 12 conference. 

This is the first time Willer has received an honor from the Big 12.
