Iowa State vs. Waldorf Game Recap

ISU hockey opened its 2013-2014 season with an 8-0 victory over Waldorf College on Friday.
The Cyclones scored in all three periods in the opener and limited the Warriors to only 14 shots on goal.
Sophomore forward J.P. Kascsak scored the first goal for the Cyclones in the first period and was the Cyclones main offensive threat, having a hat trick on the night.
The Cyclones offense was able to keep the pressure on Warriors, taking 48 shots on goal.
Goalie Matt Cooper was prefect on the night, saving all 14 of Waldorf’s shots on the goal.
Iowa State will again play the Waldorf on Saturday at 1 p.m.
